This awesome radio is a rare German tube radio manufactured by Telefunken Germany (TFK) in 1957.  It contains 7 tubes with  8 AM and 12 FM circuits. It will play almost anywhere in the world with an adjustable power supply providing 110, 127, 155, 220, 240 Volts AC at 55/60 Hz.  This Concertino has 4 speakers and a built in AM ferrite antenna as well as a built in FM loop antenna.  It has bass and treble tone adjustments, normal and HI FI settings, an external speaker connection, and a record player input which accepts any audio input such as Bluetooth, IPAD etc.  with the use of a proper cable.

The radio measures  25x10x15 in.

This cabinet is in ORIGINAL condition...NOT restored, NOT artistically altered - just the way it was back in 1958.    There are some imperfections in the finish but not bad for 60 plus years!!

I removed the chassis from the cabinet and cleaned and dusted everything, I tested the tubes, capacitors and resistors and anything that was not in acceptable ranges were replaced.  The pushbutton assembly was cleaned with DeoxIT D5 and works nicely.  The original finish and metal trim were hand polished and the original speaker grill cloth cleaned.  There is a worn spot in the speaker cloth as shown in the picture but in my opinion it did not warrant replacing.  I try to maintain as much of the original radio as possible.  I did change the magic eye tuning tube with a fresh NOS equivalent so it shines bright and responds well to station changes.

I pick up many FM stations even known weak stations play well.  I receive some AM and SW stations but not many.  I  believe it's the area that I live in.  I have many tube radios and have difficulty tuning in stations with all of them on these bands.
