This vintage treasure features the iconic EM-34 "Magic Tuning Eye" tube, which was changed out with a pre-used replacement, as the NOS 6e5s tube, readily available and commonly used as a substitute, wouldn't fit due to space restrictions.
Although the multi sonic tuning wheels produce static as you turn them (due to its design), they work fine once positioned to the correct setting, ensuring an authentic listening experience. The "mute" button is actually a tone setting to cut out highs, not designed to cut the sound entirely.
The cabinet on this Majestic remains in its original, unaltered condition with minor imperfections in the finish, showcasing its 65-plus years of history. It has been thoroughly cleaned and polished.
