This Sultan contains 6 tubes with  6 AM and 10 FM circuits. It will play almost anywhere in the world with its built-in adjustable power supply. .  This Sultan has 3 speakers (hence the "3D" side high tone effect) and separate  bass and treble tone adjustments.   The sound is awesome!   It also features an external speaker connection, and a record player input which accepts any audio input such as Bluetooth, IPAD etc.  with the use of a proper cable.   
 
The radio measures  1.3 x 9.8 x  12.4 inches.
 
This cabinet is in ORIGINAL condition...NOT restored, but hand polished to look just the way it was back in 1958.    The back is not original, it is from a model 2420, however it does the job - protects anyone from touching the inside parts.  The radio retains its original ebony stain finish which has some light imperfections which one would expect being over 65 years old.  The finish has been touched up as necessary and polished to a nice shine.

I removed the chassis from the cabinet and cleaned and dusted everything, I tested the tubes, capacitors and resistors and anything that was not in acceptable ranges were replaced.  The pushbutton assembly was cleaned with DeoxIT D5 and works nicely.  The plastic trim, buttons and controls were cleaned and hand polished.   I did replace the magic eye tuning tube with a fresh equivalent so it shines bright and responds well to station changes.  The power cord was also changed for safety issues.
 
Nothing has been done to this radio that is not described here. THIS IS NOT A FULLY RESTORED RADIO (The case has not been refinished and some parts are original), but rather an original vintage item that has been carefully inspected, cleaned and repaired as necessary to make it function as originally intended. As with all of my radios, I have played this radio for hours several days a week before I put it up for sale. I do my best to describe every item in detail.
