This1963 stereo tube radio was made in Holland (The Netherlands) for the American market by Phillips Inc. The Norelco B5X33A /64 is a 10 tube, dual speaker stereo radio with the following wave bands: FM: 108.0 - 87.5 MHz (standard US FM), AM, SW and LW. It also has connections in the back that will allow you to play from an external device such as your phone with the proper cable.
The radio measures 22.5 x 9.5 x 9.5 inches.
I removed the chassis from the cabinet and cleaned and dusted everything. I tested the tubes, capacitors and resistors. Anything that was not in acceptable ranges were replaced. Any brittle wiring was replaced. The pushbutton assembly was cleaned and treated with DeoxIT D5 and works smoothly. The plastic trim was cleaned and hand polished. I did replace the magic eye tuning tube with a fully working equivalent so it shines bright and responds well to station changes. The pressboard back is in good shape. The wood case is in good condition with it's original finish.
