This iconic radio, measuring 25 x 10 x 15 inches boasts an original cabinet, unaltered since 1958. This cabinet is in ORIGINAL condition...NOT restored, but hand polished to look just the way it was back in 1959 with 65 plus years of patina added! While there some minor imperfections in the finish, its remarkably well preserved for being over 60 years old!
I removed the chassis from the cabinet and cleaned and dusted everything, I tested the tubes, capacitors, and resistors, replacing any that were not within acceptable ranges. The pushbutton assembly was cleaned and works perfectly. The original finish and metal trim have been hand-polished to their former glory, while the original speaker grill cloth has been cleaned.
